I typically work with clients who are struggling with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, and trauma. I have a passion for working with post-partum mothers, parents, and adults with ADHD.

My approach is solution-focused. I help my clients focus on solutions by highlighting strengths and creating a vision of a preferred future. Life has so many challenges and I will help you navigate through them. I believe in working collaboratively with my clients to identify the treatment approach that works best for them.

My clients feel very comfortable talking with me. I have a gentle but straightforward communication style. I tend to use humor and try to create a light environment where my clients can be their true selves.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always had a passion for helping people. I was the friend that everyone went to with their deepest darkest secrets. I am very comfortable talking about even the most uncomfortable things. My passion for helping others is what drives me to do this work. I feel I have a true gift in helping others and I want to share that gift.

My approach to goal setting is to establish goals early and work towards them by creating solutions instead of dwelling on problems.

Our first session

The first session is where I will introduce myself and get to know you better. Most clients are very anxious about their first session and often tell me it was way easier than expected. You do not need to prepare. I will guide you through the process, answer any questions or concerns, and meet you where you are at.
