I have expertise in assisting clients' self-exploration, addressing issues related to attachment, anxiety, depression, grief, racial identity, relationship issues, school issues, self-esteem, spirituality, LGBTQ related issues and allyship, stress, and women's issues.

My approach is to create a collaborative relationship that includes your own individual experiences and strengths.

My communication style

It is always my goal to communicate with compassion, listen for the themes that have impacted clients, hold space for discovery, and use relational and Socratic questioning to assist in self-understanding.

My journey to mental healthcare

I initially began my career in people-centered work as a teacher's aide in special day classes and also worked in group homes. Over time, I gained training as a Sign Language Interpreter and was influenced by a mentor to pursue psychology. I am invested in this work due to my hope in humanity and my own experiences in self-growth.
