My name is Dena Horne and I'm a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist. I strive to honor the individuality, diversity, and complexity of each client to cultivate meaningful growth, resilience, and healing.
My approach
I work as a Cognitive Behavioral Therapist, however, sessions are tailored to each individual client.
My focus
I often work with adults experiencing PTSD, trauma, anxiety, stress, grief and loss, depression, and substance use.
My communication style
During our time together, you can expect a safe, compassionate, non-judgmental environment.
My journey to mental healthcare
I decided to become a therapist to help others. I've seen firsthand how therapy can help change lives for the better and feel honored to be on the journey alongside my clients as this change takes place.
My goals for you
First, I'd like to know what you would like to work toward. We'll then collaborate to set goals and work toward those goals together.
My first session with you
During our first session, I'll seek to understand what led you to come to therapy at this time in your life. We'll start to get to know each other to determine if we are a good match for therapy.
