My communication style

My communication style is accommodating, personal, and non-judgmental. I strive to make my clients feel comfortable so they can open up and develop a therapeutic bond with me.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have known that my career path would be in the mental health field since I was in high school. I have always been curious about behavioral issues and the psyche/mind. I have read extensively about overcoming and healing trauma, especially trauma due to neglect and abuse.

My goals for you

I work together with clients to define specific goals to work towards. I track the goals and periodically review progress towards meeting them with the client.

Our first session

The first session will be relatively open-ended compared to future sessions, whereby the client and I get to know each other, and rapport and trust is established. Eventually, this should lead to understanding the presenting issue and developing goals for future sessions.
