I come from a psychodynamic background but have a holistic orientation and integrate a variety of treatment techniques to assist my clients. My intent in working with you is not just to help you recover but to grow beyond your goals and thrive.

My focus

I mostly work with adults, young adults, teens, and their parents to develop confidence and work through conflicted relationships with their loved ones. I specialize in working with neurodivergent clients (Autism/ADHD) coping with related symptoms.

My approach

I specialize in Psychodynamic Therapy in working through unhealthy relationship patterns and rebuilding healthier attachments with estranged bonds with loved ones. I am also versed and have experience in a variety of treatment techniques (CBT, DBT, MI, IFS) and tools based on your specific needs.

I have a direct and firm but gentle approach in working with my clients. I encourage collaboration and welcome feedback.

My journey to mental healthcare

I've always been curious about social behavior, which naturally led me to study social psychology for my bachelor's and clinical psychology for my master's. I have experience working for several years at the San Mateo Psych Hospital and providing group and individual therapy.

My goals for you

Therapy with me may feel as though you have a ride-along partner, as I recognize your need to explore and evaluate your concerns while at times integrating my input as requested or needed. It would also involve a collaborative effort and an equal involvement from both of us to work through issues within our therapeutic relationship.

Our first session

In the initial sessions, you should expect that I will be more exploratory and evaluate past events while building the foundation of our relationship. I enjoy getting to know you and understanding all the different aspects of you and what brought you to therapy.
