My communication style

I have a warm, gentle, and supportive approach. I strive to build a safe and trusting environment through active, non-judgmental listening. So many of us feel like we must wear a mask in the outside world. I hope that you’ll feel safe enough to be yourself in session.

My journey to mental healthcare

I am a second-generation South Asian/American woman who identifies as neurodivergent. I grew up in a diverse environment and became interested in understanding different people and forming genuine connections with them. I believe that the humanity we all share outweighs any other perceived differences.

My goals for you

Trust and safety are paramount to successful relationships, and living life as our most authentic selves brings about healing. My goal is to create a warm, non-judgmental, and compassionate environment to support you in feeling empowered to live as your most authentic self. I take a flexible and client-centered approach to goal setting.

Our first session

My goal during the first session is to build a safe and trusting environment so that you may feel comfortable sharing freely and authentically. I’d like to give you the space to share any concerns you have. I will ask you some questions that will help me to get to know you better and understand how we may move forward in our work together.
