Hi there, I'm Jennifer!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Elk Grove, California, and working with clients statewide via telehealth. I have been practicing in the field for over 30 years with adolescents and adults in both inpatient medical and outpatient mental health/addiction services.

My focus

I have worked with adolescents, adults, parents, caregivers, bereaved individuals, and people with substance use, addiction, and codependency. My practice focuses on stress and anxiety, mood disorders, parenting, perinatal and perimenopausal issues, life transitions, grief and bereavement, and substance use recovery.

My approach

My approach to therapy varies based on the needs of each client I work with. I most frequently use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy along with a psychodynamic approach, as both modalities help me and the client build a shared understanding of their reality and allow us to work together to chart a path forward.
