As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over 10 years of experience, I specialize in treating adults with mood disorders and emotional distress. I am passionate about working with individuals and couples who are struggling with transitions in work or relationships, helping them achieve their highest aspirations in career, relationships, and personal growth. I take my clients' efforts to change very seriously. My approach combines solution-focused interventions, a psychodynamic perspective, and cognitive behavioral modalities. As a Life Coach and Mindfulness Meditation Instructor, I also incorporate evidence-based understanding of Neuroscience to teach how the brain works and effectively build and rewire neural pathways through Neuroplasticity.

I am currently focused on serving gay couples. With my experience at the LA LGBT Center and as the psychotherapist at SpaceX for 5 years, I am dedicated to helping individuals and couples from diverse backgrounds navigate challenges and grow in their relationships.

My journey to mental healthcare
My journey to mental healthcare began with graduate studies in Applied Psychology at New York University. I went on to hold a clinical position with California Hospital Medical Center. Over the past decade, I have gained extensive experience helping clients with substance abuse, health problems, anger management, parenting, support systems, divorce, and career goals.

In our first session, we will begin to explore your current challenges and what you hope to achieve through therapy. I will listen intently to understand your unique story, needs and goals. From there, we will collaboratively develop a personalized treatment plan to help you gain new insights, learn effective coping strategies, and make meaningful changes in your life.
