My communication style

I utilize open communication and create a relaxing, nonjudgmental environment for my clients. I want everyone to feel comfortable in our sessions and feel they can be as open as they'd like to be.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always enjoyed helping people in my profession. I started as a teacher for grades K-12 and wanted to do more with my career outside of the classroom. I decided on the journey to become a licensed psychotherapist and have enjoyed helping people from all walks of life.

My goals for you

I like to focus on setting goals in our first session. I feel it's important to meet my clients where they are and make goal-setting a simple approach. I like for my clients to have realistic goals and want them to know we can always reevaluate goals as we move along with the therapeutic process.

Our first session

In our first session, I want to hear from my clients. I want to know what brought them to therapy, what they want to work on, and hope to accomplish and formulate goals.
