My communication style

I have been told by clients that it feels easy to speak with me. I believe that is because I listen and get curious about you, who you are, and what you would like to achieve with our time together. I have a soft tone, calm for the most part. There are times we may laugh in session because life, growth, and change can be fun!

My journey to mental healthcare

I have a strong passion for supporting others and helping them identify limiting beliefs that keep them stuck. I believe in meeting clients with empathy and unconditional positive regard, working collaboratively to develop treatment priorities and create a vision for achieving personal and therapeutic goals.

My goals for you

I love setting goals with clients! After getting to know you and your reasons for seeking support, I will share with you what I think I heard you say you'd like to work on and then ask you specifically where you would like to see yourself emotionally in the near future.

Our first session

During a first session with me, a client can expect to feel comfortable and safe. I will introduce myself and share a little about my background and what therapy is, and will ask you to share about yourself, what brings you in to get support, and where you would like to see yourself.
