My therapeutic style and approach are a good fit for young adults, individuals, and couples who may be struggling with the challenges of life, mental health well-being, and relational/marital issues for couples. I put much effort into helping my clients navigate through these difficult chapters and build skills to allow them to feel better.

My approach varies based on your unique needs. I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Client-Centered Therapy to create a shared understanding of your treatment goals and how we'll work together to reach them.

My style is calm, gentle, accommodating, and personal. I want you to feel safe and comfortable talking with me about anything. I'm a caring listener who offers acceptance and understanding.

My journey to mental healthcare

I decided to become a therapist because I have always enjoyed helping those around me. Whether it was through peer counseling in school, volunteering in my community, or being a trusted and loyal friend, I have always naturally been drawn to helping others through difficult times.

My goals for you

My approach to goal setting with my clients is all about collaborating to define what it is that my clients want to accomplish in our time together. This often starts with building trust between us and getting comfortable with what it means to be in therapy.

Our first session

In our first session, we'll spend most of our time talking about how you got to where you are in your life. I'll ask questions to better understand where you're coming from, and we'll focus on building our initial connection.
