My mission is to help my clients discover their inherent strength and resilience, guiding them through the process of empowerment and self-reflection.

My journey to mental healthcare

In words inspired by Maya Angelou, 'You may encounter many defeats, but you must not be defeated.' Helping clients understand that we all have gone through our defeats, but we are capable of healing and understanding how we can grow and learn from them, drives me to continue to do this work and help the community.

My approach to therapy is person-centered, prioritizing the establishment of rapport and providing empathetic understanding, validation, and supportive reflection. I believe in creating a safe and understanding environment that fosters growth and empowerment for my clients.

In our first session, we'll focus on getting to know each other and building rapport. I'll ask about what brings you to therapy and what you hope to achieve. Together, we'll begin to identify your strengths and create a collaborative plan that feels right for you. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard and hopeful.
