I will assist by providing tools that help empower you to believe in yourself and build internal strength to manage what life brings.

My focus

I have worked with the entire age range from infants to the elderly. Currently, I see young adults and adults with life transitions, trauma, depression, anxiety, grief, and life adjustments.

My approach

My main therapeutic approach is Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), followed by Mindfulness-based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), Solution-focused, and Strengths-based.

My communication style

I allow the client to lead and guide the session. I listen actively to assist with providing the support needed. I provide a validating environment, feedback and effective tools to help better manage current symptoms.

My journey to mental healthcare

I am an individual who loves to help others and provide the support needed to create hope, happiness, and increase self-love. My own life challenges also have led me to this profession, and I am a true believer in Mental Health as a need for overall Health.

My goals for you

The client creates their own goals, and I assist with making them attainable and realistic. I emphasize the importance of setting a goal to work towards and accomplishing goals.

Our first session

I provide a brief introduction about myself and my experience, and set the tone of what to expect in therapeutic sessions. I also provide an opportunity for you to ask any questions and reiterate the importance of feeling connected and understood by your therapist.
