My communication style

I use a calm, personable, and non-judgmental style of communication. I want you to feel safe to talk about anything. Safety is built through trust, and we will begin building this trust in our very first session.

My journey to mental healthcare

I knew from the age of 14, through my interactions with my own social work, that I wanted to help others. I became a psychologist because I felt that it provided me with the most avenues to assist others to rise above the challenges in their lives and become the best version of themselves.

My goals for you

My approach to goal setting is first to help you define what goals you want to accomplish through the use of therapy. We will work together then to set and track smaller goals that will lead us to accomplishing your larger goals.

Our first session

Our first session is about starting to build that initial connection and trust through getting to know each other better, and you becoming with what therapy is. During this session, I will ask you a number of questions for the sole purpose of understanding you better.
