My communication style

I see you as the person you are, not the struggle you're coming in with. I like to converse with you like you're talking to a friend with strong boundaries and deep, philosophical questions. I love having deep conversations and try to cut through surface talk relatively quickly, depending on your comfort levels.

My journey to mental healthcare

Since elementary school, I have always been curious about other people's stories and experiences. I knew at a young age that I wanted to help people and shine a light on darker areas in their lives. I continue to be in awe of my clients' emotional and physical resilience and greatly respect the courage and vulnerability of those who choose therapy.

My goals for you

After every session, I like clients to identify at least 1-3 measurable goals to work on for the next week in between our sessions. This gives us direction and helps support the treatment plan created.

Our first session

During the first session, we will complete a biopsychosocial assessment and get to know one another to build therapeutic rapport. We will review confidentiality and informed consent and address any questions. This is our time to connect and identify short-term and long-term goals to create a treatment plan together.
