Hi there, I'm April!

Welcome! I’m glad you’re here. Let’s create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered. Since becoming an LCSW in 2009, I have passionately been working to guide children, adolescents, and families through complex emotional and behavioral challenges. I am committed to creating a warm and supportive space for you.

My focus

I have found that my style and approach are a good fit for teen girls and women who may be dealing with the challenges of life transitions. This often takes the form of anxiety, depression, stress, and prior traumas. I work to help you navigate these transition periods and to build skills to allow you to process and understand your emotions.

My approach

My approach is always strength-based and client-centered, recognizing that no single therapeutic modality works for everyone. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is built on trust and genuine connection. I draw from a variety of practices, including Narrative and Solution-Focused Therapy, CBT, Attachment Theory, and Family Systems.
