My communication style

Creating a non-judgmental, supportive, and compassionate environment for my clients is of the utmost importance to me. Unfortunately, many individuals have faced shame or rejection when being vulnerable and sharing intimate parts of themselves. My goal is to provide a safe, warm space where you can feel understood and accepted.

My journey to mental healthcare

My passion for counseling and serving others began when I worked as a peer counselor at my high school, which inspired me to pursue a career in psychology. This led me to decide that a Master's in Marriage and Family Therapy would be the best fit to continue meeting the deeper emotional needs of children and families.

My goals for you

Our counseling journey and goal setting are collaborative. While I bring mental health expertise, you're the expert of your life. It's essential you have a voice in your treatment, and I look to you to ensure we're on the right track.

Our first session

The first session is a "get to know you" session where we get to feel each other out and make sure it's a good fit. I ask questions about you and different areas of your life, and areas of concern, and develop goals together for counseling. The work begins with receiving concrete strategies and exploring personal issues in ongoing sessions.
