My journey to mental healthcare

Before becoming a full-time clinician, I spent over a decade in clinical psychiatry research focused on attachment, trauma, suicide prevention, Veterans' mental health, and Borderline Personality Disorder. I have trained and worked in academic, community, and psychoanalytic settings, providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy.

Rather than following a one-size-fits-all model, I tailor therapy to your unique needs. Whether you're seeking deeper self-understanding, practical strategies, or a combination of both, we'll work collaboratively toward meaningful and lasting change.

Our first session

Our first session is a chance to begin building a trusting therapeutic relationship. We'll explore what brings you to therapy, your history, current challenges, and goals for treatment. I’ll listen with curiosity, ask thoughtful questions, and begin understanding how we can work together toward meaningful change.
