Hi there, I'm Erick!

There are times when situations overcome our ability to cope. It can be frightening, and it takes courage to try something different like therapy. I specialize in working with individuals who have anxiety, depression, and trauma due to cultural and life circumstances.

My focus

I work with young adults to older adults with life transitions, anxiety, and depression. I have experience with veterans and LGBTQIA+ individuals to build resilience and coping skills through intersecting identities that impact their mental health.

My approach

My approach is cognitive-behavioral therapy to help identify, examine, and change thought patterns and behaviors that are negatively impacting your life. Depending on the individual, I may incorporate dialectical behavioral therapy and mindfulness to help manage mood and provide tools to decrease distress.
