Hi there, I'm Stephanie!

I provide a safe and non-judgmental space where you can feel free to be yourself while working towards being your best self. I work with individuals of all ages dealing with life stressors, relationship issues, anxiety, and depression. My primary focus is to empower you to build resiliency, coping skills, and problem-solving skills.

My style and approach are a good fit for teens and adults going through life transitions and adjustments resulting in anxiety, depression, and stress. I work with you to help you see that you can conquer anything life throws at you and assist you in building skills that will lead to greater resiliency and a growth mindset.

I pull from different therapeutic techniques to meet your unique needs, most often utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Mindfulness-based cognitive therapy. My goal is to help you create a more positive outlook by identifying destructive thought patterns and replacing them with constructive thoughts and healthy coping skills.

My communication style is calm, accommodating, and personable. It's very important to me that you always feel like you can be yourself and express yourself freely. I have a non-judgmental communication style and utilize both validation and transparency to help you feel comfortable while reaching your goals.

Throughout my life, I've found myself helping others struggling with adverse life circumstances. My calm and nurturing nature helps people find comfort in expressing themselves and finding relief from their struggles. It's my passion to help others find joy, learn to live fulfilling lives, and become the best versions of themselves.

My approach to goal setting is collaborative and thoughtful. I work with you to discuss what you want to accomplish in our time together and meet you where you are. Over the course of our time together, we'll track your progress and can adjust the goals as needed.

Our first session

During our first session, my goal is to engage with and build a connection with you by creating a safe space and getting to know you and the reason you sought therapy. The first session is about building an alliance and instilling trust and open communication that will lay the foundation for a successful therapeutic relationship.
