In my practice, my focus areas are navigating anxiety, life stressors, and depression through a variety of evidence-based therapeutic practices.

My focus

I have experience working with both the adult and geriatric populations, helping them navigate challenging life stressors, which can present as depression and anxiety. In addition to identifying clients' feelings and thoughts and working on developing healthy coping skills.

My approach

I prefer to focus on client-centered therapy in order to meet the client where they are at. Therefore, my approaches vary based on individual client needs. I have experience utilizing CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Psychodynamic Therapy.

My communication style

It is important for me to create a strong rapport with my clients in order to create a safe therapeutic environment. I communicate directly and honestly, however, it is in a supportive manner.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always known I want to work with others in a helping capacity. As a therapist, my goal is to empower clients to make positive changes and achieve their goals.

My goals for you

Goal setting is an essential part of therapy. I prefer to work collaboratively with the client to develop the goals. At times, it can be helpful to have smaller goals established to reach the larger goal.

Our first session

During the first session, the focus is to get to know you and to start building rapport. I will also ask questions to discover the reason for therapy, along with desired outcomes. In addition to learning more about your current mental state.
