My goal is to help my clients achieve greater self-awareness, self-acceptance, and find ways to develop personal growth.

My focus

I have experience working with all age groups; however, I prefer to focus on adolescents and older. I am most comfortable treating the following conditions: anxiety, adjustment disorders, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, trauma-related disorders, and grief.

My approach

First and foremost is providing a safe and welcoming environment to help you feel comfortable. My primary approach is person-centered therapy. This nondirective approach allows you to direct the treatment process with my support, evoking self-change. I also use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused approaches.

My communication style

I think it's important to have a relaxed environment that is comfortable and inviting. I also like to encourage being transparent during our sessions, encouraging honesty for a better outcome.

My journey to mental healthcare

During my undergrad education, I took a psychology class, which I found intriguing, making me realize I had found something I wanted to learn so much more about. My life experience with family members experiencing mental health issues drove me to want to find out more ways I could help, and in doing so, I found my passion.

My goals for you

I work together with each individual to come up with goals that are attainable and tailored to each individual's diagnosis, and focus on what they would like to work on.

Our first session

During our first session, I will ask questions to get to know you better, in an effort to find out what areas you would like to work on, current stressors, history, and discuss goals to work on together in therapy.
