My communication style

I offer a warm and gentle container. I'm an active listener who pays attention to symbols and threads in your story. I'll check things out with you to see if they're true. I can be direct at times, but mostly offer a space for you to get to know yourself.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist because I have always been sensitive and tuned into emotions. I like listening to people's stories and helping them gain empathy and compassion for themselves. I am drawn to being with people during challenging times and being their cheerleader as they break free from limiting beliefs.

My goals for you

Some people have specific therapeutic goals, while others just know something feels off and want support. I am open to working with specific goals, helping you get clear on your goals, or just being with you and seeing how the work unfolds.

Our first session

The first session will be a time for us to feel what it's like to be with a new person in a new space. We'll go over my practice policies, and you'll have time to share what is bringing you to therapy. Building rapport and establishing safety is just as important as the content you bring.
