I work with adults and older adults and help people dealing with depression, anxiety, chronic illness, and substance abuse using a client-centered and strength-based approach.

My client focus has mainly been on adults and older adults who have recently been in the ER or hospital due to their medical conditions. I work to help my clients navigate this period in their lives and assist with building skills to help them cope.

My approach

My approach to therapy differs based on the needs of the client. I most frequently use Motivational Interviewing and Client-based therapy. My goal is to use the best approach for you!

My communication is calm, attentive, and personable. I want my clients to feel comfortable being able to open up to me about anything.

My journey started at a young age, just knowing that I wanted to help people. I love to see my clients become successful and independent in being able to cope with their difficult situations.

My goals for you

How I approach setting goals with clients is to work together to define what you are looking to accomplish during our time together. This will start with building some trust and eventually working towards setting some goals and tracking your progress.

Our first session

Our first session together will mostly consist of talking about how you have been feeling recently, and me asking questions to help me better understand why you are feeling the way you are. This first session is about building a connection to then get a sense of what would be best for you.
