Hi there, I'm Judy!
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist in the state of California. I have provided therapeutic services for 12 years in both non-profit and county organizations throughout my career. I worked with adolescents on a grant from the State of California in Child Abuse Treatment for the first nine years of my career.
My focus
I have been trained in TF-CBT (trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy) and EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing). I have taken extensive training for trauma, major depressive disorders, and anxiety disorders.
My approach
I often utilize a client-centered approach to collaborate with the clients and their families in supporting them through the therapeutic relationship and helping each client build on their existing strengths. I come from a background of utilizing CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused, and EMDR modalities.
