Hi there, I'm Ola!

I have a practice in California and have provided individual therapy with clients for over 15 years. At this time, I am currently accepting clients via telehealth. In my practice, it has been my privilege to work with individuals from diverse backgrounds; many are ready to address challenging life events and/or relationships.

I have worked with individuals with a range of conditions, including anxiety, depression, trauma, personal growth, and life coaching. My therapeutic approach focuses on understanding rather than judging.

I am an active and empathetic listener and will ask for clarity without judgment. I employ this approach to foster emotional resonance, enabling clients to feel truly seen and accepted.

My journey to mental healthcare

Throughout my entire career, I have helped individuals, families, and communities overcome challenges and improve their well-being. I leaned toward the clinical path of psychotherapy as I didn’t see many therapists who looked like me and knew I could offer a unique perspective and understanding on individual struggles and life challenges.

Our first session

During our first session, my goal is to create a welcoming space for you to share your story and what brought you to therapy. I will listen with empathy, ask about your background and goals, and explain how therapy works. I hope that afterwards, you leave feeling heard and view it as the foundation of a collaborative plan for growth and healing.
