I'm so glad you took the first step by exploring Rula. I take a client-centered, collaborative approach to therapy, tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals. My focus

I work with teens, adults, and seniors navigating difficult emotions, family dynamics, grief, autism, trauma, and self-expression. Teens can expect a warm, understanding space where we use art, collages, journaling, sandtray, and games to express feelings. I also facilitate family sessions to address challenging dynamics.

My approach

I specialize in expressive arts—sandtray, art, play therapy, guided imagery, and journaling—to help clients address and work through their concerns. I offer a warm and friendly approach in a safe and inviting environment. I also have a large play and activity room full of art supplies and sandtray essentials for our work together.

My communication style

I prioritize clear, open communication to create a supportive, non-judgmental environment. I practice active listening and give you opportunities to reflect on your experiences with me as an empathetic partner. If you're working through something challenging, you can expect me to be calm and patient.

My journey to mental healthcare

I felt a sense of responsibility for others' well-being early on, listening and problem-solving regularly. I valued being a source of guidance and optimism, which led me to pursue becoming a clinical social worker. I've carried that commitment into my practice, where I continue to support clients through their challenges.

Our first session will be an opportunity for us to get to know one another. We'll discuss your background, what brings you to therapy, and your family history. I will provide you with a warm and inviting space to discuss your goals for treatment and how we can achieve these goals together.
