My communication style is warm, supportive, and client-centered. I strive to create a safe and nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard and supported. I balance active listening with thoughtful guidance, offering both empathy and practical tools to help clients navigate challenges.

My journey to mental healthcare

This has been a mid-career change for me. I was always interested in gaining a deeper understanding of human resiliency, emotions, relationships, and personal growth, which led me to change career paths and enter the field of psychology and then social work. My journey has reinforced my belief in the power of healing through connection.

My goals for you

I take a collaborative and flexible approach to goal setting, recognizing that each client's journey is unique. Together, we identify meaningful goals that align with their values and aspirations. I incorporate structured techniques, such as SMART goals, to create clarity and measurable progress while also allowing space for exploration and growth.

Our first session

The first session is a welcoming and collaborative space where we begin to know each other. I take time to understand your concerns, goals, and what brings you to therapy, while also sharing a bit about my approach. This session is also an opportunity for you to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable.
