Our pain is a portal that can lead us to the freedom we desire if we have the courage to look at what hurts. I believe healing is less about how our pain manifests and more about the messages our pain is trying to convey. Through a strengths-based, non-judgmental approach, we can heal the wounded parts of ourselves and become increasingly available to live a more authentic and empowered life.
My approach
With gentle curiosity, we can start to explore the messages our pain is conveying and uncover the root of the unhealed parts of ourselves that desperately seek our attention and compassion. My approach is strengths-based and non-judgmental, focused on healing so you can live a more authentic and empowered life.
My focus
I work with individuals struggling with issues such as alcohol use, coping with chronic illness, building coping skills, depression, grief, navigating life transitions, exploring spirituality, and challenges related to LGBTQIA+ identity.
My communication style
I communicate with gentle curiosity and a non-judgmental approach, creating a safe space for you to explore your pain and uncover the messages it conveys. Through compassionate dialogue, we'll work together to heal the wounded parts of yourself and empower you to live more authentically.
My journey to mental healthcare
I earned my Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I completed my clinical hours for licensure under the supervision of Linda Daniels-Hernandez, LCSW at Kaiser Permanente in Woodland Hills, CA from 02/2005-12/2005, and Tammy Merlo, LCSW at Kaiser Permanente in Panorama City, CA from 12/2005-08/2007.
My goals for you
Healing is one of the greatest gifts we can give ourselves, and I believe you are worth it. My goal is to support you in healing the parts of yourself that are hurting so you can experience the freedom and empowerment you desire.
