I work with adults who are going through anything from daily stress to PTSD due to a chronic history of trauma and abuse. My work has been primarily with underserved populations, including Spanish-speaking communities.

I often use Strength-Based Treatment, Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, mindfulness meditation, stress management, time management skills, and social skills training.

The environment I strive to create feels safe, non-judgmental, and one that is led by the client. My job as a therapist is not to tell you what to do, but to collaborate with you. I assist in helping you come up with solutions, techniques, and healthy coping skills.

My career as a therapist started when I saw the need for mental health services. I believe that everyone should have access to mental health services.

When assisting a patient in setting goals, I often explore realistic goals that can be implemented in a person's daily life. I believe in meeting a client where they are and respecting what they feel and see as progress.

My first session consists of getting to know you in an informal manner. I don't go over a rigid list of questions; instead, I allow for the discussion about you to flow naturally without any agenda of checking off boxes. Instead, I gather information by listening to your own narrative about yourself.
