Hi there, I'm Jody!

I specialize in treating disordered eating, body image distress, anxiety, depression, trauma, addictions, and phase-of-life issues. My intention is to create a safe, caring, and supportive environment for you to express what needs to be heard and process what needs to be felt to heal and reconnect with your life.

My approach

My approach is humanistic and client-centered. I work to understand you as an individual and connect you to your inherent ability to overcome challenges and live with hope. Common modalities we use include DBT, CBT, ACT, and art therapy to support your healing and growth.

My communication style

My communication style is molded over time as we build our therapeutic alliance. I want to know what feels best and most effective for you. I can be directive at times, while at other times give you space to process what is needed. My communication will always be respectful and compassionate.

My journey to mental healthcare

I love being a therapist and had a feeling this was my path after my own therapeutic journey. My experiences have shown me the courage it takes to seek therapy and how commitment to therapy is life-changing. This work has gifted me the greatest respect for my clients. Therapy is hard work, and you are worth it.
