I work with adults who are navigating anxiety, depression, stress, LGBTQIA+ issues, and substance use. My goal is to help you reduce suffering and start feeling better through compassionate, evidence-based care.

I work best with LGBTQIA+ adults dealing with emotional and behavioral dysregulation, interpersonal conflict, and social pressures. This often shows up as anxiety, depression, stress, and substance use. I help you navigate these challenges, build skills, and develop a more positive outlook on life.

My approach is eclectic and affirming, tailored to your unique needs. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to help us build a shared understanding of your reality, develop skills for greater effectiveness, and chart a path forward together.

My communication style is warm, empathic, and personable. I want you to feel comfortable talking with me about anything. I pride myself on listening without judgment and creating a space where you can be yourself.

My journey to mental healthcare

I became a therapist because I'm naturally curious and have always wanted to help people. I'm drawn to understanding the strengths people have and how these strengths build resilience. I enjoy seeing individuals become their best selves by tapping into strengths that may sometimes be overlooked.

My goals for you

My approach to goal setting is collaborative. We work together to define what you want to accomplish. This starts by building trust and getting comfortable with therapy. Over time, we'll set goals and track your progress as we move forward together.

Our first session

In our first session, we'll spend most of our time talking about how you've been feeling recently and how you've been dealing with these feelings. I'll ask questions to better understand what's going on. The first session is about building connection and helping me understand where we should go from there.
