Hi there, I'm Kimberly!

I have 15+ years of experience working with people living with mental health and/or substance use issues. I am also a board-certified art therapist. I provide skills to clients that can be used in everyday life. I will listen and help to guide and encourage you in a safe and private space.

My focus

I offer therapy to adolescents, adults, and couples. I take a goal-oriented and collaborative approach, drawing from evidence-based therapeutic modalities to tailor our work to your unique needs.

My approach

My therapeutic approach is eclectic and strength-based, drawing from DBT and CBT to build skills, increase insight, and support emotional regulation. I can also integrate art therapy when helpful, offering creative ways to explore experiences, express emotions, and promote healing.

My communication style is warm, interested, and supportive. I strive to create a safe space where you will feel comfortable, understood, and able to be yourself while we do this work together.

My journey to mental healthcare

I was drawn to a career as a therapist through a deep respect for the resilience of the human spirit and a sincere curiosity about people's inner worlds and relationships. I am continually inspired by my client's courage, insight, and capacity to change, even in the midst of struggle.

I approach goal setting as a collaborative and flexible process. Together, we can explore what is most meaningful to you- clarify your hopes and challenges and set goals that align with your values and pace. and strengths. Goals are revisited and adjusted as growth unfolds.
