Hi there, I'm Juvania!

I am J. Dumas. I have a doctorate in Clinical Psychology and an LPCC. I’m from New Orleans, La and have traveled all over the world learning about different cultures and practices. I believe therapy is about “treating people on an energetic level”. I want you to feel as though you can heal from the inside and extend that out to others.

My focus

I offer trauma-informed care for POC mental health, addressing diverse needs for well-being and personal development. I specialize in psychological assessments and diagnoses. My services prioritize confidentiality, empathy, and evidence-based care, helping you understand your mental health and providing tools to cope with challenges.

My approach

My greatest strength as a therapist is that I meet individuals where they are, and I am willing to take on the most challenging individuals. There is no issue too great to solve, and we will do it together. My work is grounded in empathy, professionalism, and a deep understanding of the complexities of mental health.
