I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with 5 years in private practice as well as 25 years in mental health settings, focusing on individuals and young adults as well as other specialties.
My approach
My approach is to work with you in a warm, supportive environment. I feel it is important to build a trusting relationship where you are respected and listened to, and we work together on your concerns. I use multiple clinical approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Brief Therapy, Grief Therapy, Solution Based Therapy, and Client-Centered Therapy. These therapies are then tailored to best fit your particular situation.
My focus
I have worked with clients with depression, anxiety, anger management, relationship issues, parenting, and couples' issues. I have also worked with people dealing with domestic violence and trauma. I am willing to see individuals and minors (ages 13-17). My specialties include ADHD, anger management, anxiety, bipolar disorder, depression, divorce, domestic violence, family conflict, grief, LGBTQIA+, life transitions, parenting, relationship issues, self-esteem, stress, transgender issues, panic attacks, career counseling, and coping skills.

My journey to mental healthcare
I began accruing my clinical hours for licensure on 10/30/2000 at College Hospital Costa Mesa, 301 Victoria Street, Costa Mesa, CA 92627. I completed my hours on 12/15/2005. My path to mental healthcare has been driven by a passion for helping people improve their lives and well-being.
