My name is Crystal Williams, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Los Angeles, serving California clients via telehealth. My primary focus is working with adults to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression through a holistic approach. I also specialize in helping individuals navigate relationship concerns. I am currently offering short-term therapy of 12 weeks or less.
My approach
I find strategies that will work for each individual, including psychodynamic therapy, prolonged exposure, brief problem-solving, and mindfulness & acceptance. I aim to provide a corrective, validating emotional experience. I offer a non-judgemental space to unpack life's worries and teach skills to help soften the symptoms that prevent you from living to your full potential.

My communication style
I am down-to-earth and straightforward. I don't use a lot of psycho-jargon and incorporate humor when appropriate. I aim to rephrase what I'm hearing and check in with you to make sure I've understood you. I want clients to feel empowered and hopeful after our sessions. You are in the driver's seat; I am here to help you navigate and will respect your values, culture, and individual needs.
My journey to mental healthcare
After some time in the military/law enforcement, I decided to make a career change more in line with my personal values. I enjoy helping individuals work through difficult times and find deep meaning in this work. It is truly an honor to serve humanity as a therapist.
