Hi there, I'm Alik!

I'm dedicated to helping people build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. I especially enjoy working with couples and on parenting concerns, because we're not meant to journey through life on our own. Parenting extends well beyond raising young children; even adult children face challenges when caring for aging parents.

My focus

I work with anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and relationship issues—between partners, parents and children, family members, or with yourself. I help people explore patterns, improve communication, and build stronger connections. Our work will focus on creating more understanding and less tension.

My approach

I start by helping you find relief from overwhelming conflict, whether with someone else or within yourself. When emotions run high, it's hard to feel heard or in control. Together, we'll work on managing intense feelings, improving communication, and finding new ways to approach old patterns. As things settle, clarity and safety grow.

My communication style

I aim to be thoughtful and engaged in our conversations. I ask questions to better understand your world, and I'm always open to answering yours. When I offer insights, I do so with care and humility. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe to speak freely, knowing you'll be met with curiosity, respect, and honesty.

My journey to mental healthcare

My interest in this work began with my own childhood, where I witnessed how relationship struggles impact a family. Those experiences inspired me to help others create more supportive, loving connections. I'm passionate about helping families navigate conflict in ways that protect children's well-being and support respectful co-parenting.

I believe meaningful change takes time, and I won't rush your process. You set the pace, and I'll walk alongside you with patience and support. Having clear goals helps us stay focused on what matters most to you. Together, we'll figure out where you want to go and help you get there in a way that feels true to who you are.

Our first session

Our first session is about getting to know you. I'll listen to your story, your concerns, and what's bringing you in. When helpful, I'll share feedback—pointing out something that needs attention or letting you know what you're feeling is more common than you think. My goal is to make that first meeting feel both safe and useful.
