I am a therapist with over 30 years of experience working with various client issues. I specialize in helping individuals navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, loss, trauma, HIV, autism support, and family issues.
My approach
My counseling and treatment approaches are unique and tailored to each individual. I come from a compassionate strength-based approach using a combination of cognitive-behavioral, problem-solving, and psychodynamic therapies. I also integrate spirituality/12-step models into my practice as appropriate.
My focus
My clinical focus tends to be mostly on depression, anxiety, family substance abuse/codependency, and HIV. I am dedicated to supporting individuals as they work through these challenges.
My communication style
I strive to communicate with clarity, compassion, and understanding. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and supported.
My journey to mental healthcare
I began my journey in mental healthcare by obtaining my clinical hours for licensure from November 1992 to January 1995 at Enki La Puente Mental Health Center in La Puente, CA under the supervision of Michael Kennedy, LCSW. My motivation has always been a deep desire to help others navigate life\'s challenges and achieve greater well-being.
My goals for you
My goal for you is to provide the tools, insights, and support you need to overcome obstacles, gain new perspectives, and lead a more fulfilling life. I am here to empower you on your unique journey of growth and self-discovery.
My first session with you
In our first session, we will focus on understanding your unique needs, concerns, and goals for therapy. This will lay the foundation for our work together. You can expect a warm, empathetic, and collaborative approach as we begin to explore your experiences and map out a path forward.
