I go by Lori. My approach to therapy is based on building a relationship of trust, warmth, and acceptance. I have expertise in autism, anger management, depression, anxiety, personality disorders, and various issues concerning children.
My focus
I work with adults experiencing depression, anxiety, anger management issues, relationship problems, parenting issues, stress, and time management. I also work with children regarding divorce, loss and grief, behavioral problems, ADHD, anxiety, and depression.
My approach
My approach is based on first building a relationship with my clients. I believe if a therapist doesn't have a solid, trusting therapeutic relationship, a theoretical approach is of little value. Once that relationship is established, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Family Systems Theory, and Solution-Focused Therapy.
