My communication style

I am serious and professional. I am straightforward in communication; however, I find jokes and laughter as a good way to bridge the relational gap and improve comfort for a therapeutic relationship.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have always been a good listener and have always enjoyed psychology. I found that Clinical Social Work has allowed me to use this skill set in a way that is helpful and productive.

My goals for you

I believe goal setting is entirely client-driven and as a therapist, I believe it's my job to help the client achieve their goals in a collaborative way. Patient autonomy is respected.

Our first session

The first session is rapport building. For a client to feel comfortable with me and to make progress with me, they need to know my personality and understand that I will do my best to help them achieve their goals. I also need to know the client with who I am working.
