As a therapist, my practice integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution-Focused therapy to educate individuals on how their thoughts, feelings, and behavioral patterns can influence self-reflection and relationships. I tailor treatment to each client's specific needs using a client-centered approach. Together, we break unhelpful patterns hindering growth and quality of life.
My focus
I work with individuals, couples, families, and minors (ages 13-17), focusing on a wide range of concerns including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, life transitions, trauma, and more. I am committed to providing culturally sensitive care and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community.
My communication style
My communication style is warm, empathetic, and collaborative. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel heard and validated. Through open dialogue and active listening, we will work together to develop coping skills, regulate emotions, and find healthier ways to manage challenges.
My journey to mental healthcare
I hold a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) degree obtained in 2020, a Master of Social Work (MSW) from 2013, and a PhD in Counseling from 2012. These educational experiences have equipped me with a strong foundation in various therapeutic modalities and a deep understanding of human behavior and mental health.

I will gather information about your background, experiences, and current challenges to gain a comprehensive understanding of your unique situation.
