I provide mental health care for trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, and gender and sexual orientation issues. Not only do I have professional experience working with trauma, but I also have personal experience developing mental health symptoms after exposure to trauma. I am a therapy client myself.
My focus
I work with survivors of sexual abuse and domestic violence, substance abuse, traumatic grief, military combat trauma, and issues related to gender and sexuality. I will use personal disclosure to help normalize reactions to trauma when appropriate.
My approach
My clinical work is trauma-focused, specifically working with those who are experiencing mental health symptoms associated with exposure to childhood trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence, narcissistic abuse, and traumatic loss.
