My communication style

I am a therapist who actively listens, creates a safe space for my clients to grow and learn about themselves, and asks insightful questions.

My journey to mental healthcare

In high school, I wanted to become a therapist because I enjoyed connecting with people, and I wanted to be someone who could support others and guide them through their struggles. I received my BA in Psychology and then my MA in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Expressive Arts Therapy.

My goals for you

I ask my clients, first, what goals they have in the different areas of their lives, and more importantly, what goals they have for therapy. We then talk about how we can break those goals into small steps and keep track of progress. When needed, a reward system is put into place once the client reaches each milestone.

Our first session

The first session is one of introduction, and for the client to ask questions about the process. I assure my clients that there isn't a right or wrong way to do therapy and that it is important to me that my clients feel connected to me, and if not, that finding another therapist is ok.
