I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and my approach to mental healthcare involves the whole person. We will work together to focus on all aspects of life and health–emotional, social, and physical. My practice focuses on helping people through a combination of medication and other lifestyle or behavioral interventions that may help recovery and reaching personal goals.
My approach
In addition to training in psychiatric care, my background in clinical social work, perinatal health, and sexuality education enrich my perspective and the care I provide. I use an eclectic approach to helping people uncover and understand the nature of the struggles they are having and help us come to an effective treatment plan together.
My focus
I treat adults of all ages for a broad range of conditions, with a particular interest in anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and PTSD.
My communication style
My most valued goal is for people to feel heard and understood, and to make people feel as comfortable as possible in sharing what is happening for them so we can figure out together what will help.
My first session with you
To ensure we have a productive first visit, please be sure to fill out your intake form in advance! During our first visit, we will complete a full mental health assessment and evaluation. There will be lots of questions during this visit, especially regarding your medical and mental health history. Once we have completed your evaluation, we can then discuss a treatment plan specific to your needs that will get you on the road to feeling better as soon as possible!
