My approach to therapy is built on an eclectic orientation of various therapeutic focuses such as psychodynamic theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, existential therapy, and a strength-based approach.

The goal of each session is to provide a calming therapeutic environment free of judgment and a space where one can feel able to connect, learn, and grow.

My journey to mental healthcare

My interest in this professional journey and type of work comes from a variety of past experiences, family values, and my cultural upbringing. I have a master’s degree in social work from California State University, Long Beach. Having lived in Ecuador, I am also fluent in Spanish and approach all therapeutic work with a cultural humility lens.
