Hi there, I'm Amanda!

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and have been working in the mental health field for over 8 years. I have experience working with adolescents, adults, and families in a variety of practice settings. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked as a Veterinary Technician and grew up on a sheep farm.

My focus

My ideal client may feel hopeless, helpless, or feel they have hit a wall in their life, searching for support and validation of their experiences.

My approach

My areas of expertise include grief and loss, anxiety, depression, family conflict, and pregnancy/postpartum. I use a relational style, and my framework is based on a Psychodynamic approach with an emphasis on family systems. I am trained and practiced in using CBT, DBT, and TF-CBT to support your process.
