Hi there, I'm Victoria!

My mission is to empower teens & young adults by providing the knowledge/skills needed to cope in this ever-changing world. I have 10+ years of experience working w/ teens & young adults who have experienced various forms of trauma & probation/DCFS/foster care involvement. I also have 10+ years of experience working w/ student-athletes. As a result of trauma, many have experienced symptoms of anxiety & depression. Many individuals who struggle to communicate what they are going through internally express themselves through their behaviors/actions. Some find unhealthy ways to cope, which negatively impact their relationships w/ friends & family. Some also find their unhealthy coping to negatively impact their experience in the classroom, at work, on the athletic field, etc. Transparency & vulnerability are a part of therapy, which takes a significant amount of courage & bravery on your end. I am here to listen with compassion, free of judgment, and with acceptance. My priority is to create a space that is emotionally safe for you to embark on your healing journey. I believe it is vital to work together as teammates in this therapeutic relationship. Teamwork/collaboration is crucial to achieving results. "Teamwork makes the dream work."
