My focus

Truly, I enjoy someone who is okay with being challenged and open to understanding their own perspective. I enjoy working with individuals who understand they have trouble with emotional regulation but are curious, open, and motivated, even if sometimes it's hard to pull out of themselves.

My approach

I really pride myself on offering a non-judgmental space for the people I work with. Every session, I truly intend on "meeting you where you're at", and I emphasize so much how you should do the same for yourself. I am very personable yet transparent. I am motivated to help others see their true potential. Change is within all of us.

My communication style

I am very transparent. I love to say, "Can I challenge that thought?" However, I am so easy-going and fluid in my communication. Therapy shouldn't feel strict. I am easy-going and allow you to be the leader in the session, but in many ways, my goal is to challenge your intrusive thoughts, sometimes your perspective, but I do this without judgment.

My journey to mental healthcare

I have so much personal experience with trauma as a child and young adult. This led me to a therapist who changed my life. I learned that in order for others to become resilient, it only takes ONE person to come into our lives and change the perspective. I am hopeful to be the ONE, or lead you to become the ONE for others also.

My goals for you

My favorite words and phrases are the following: "normalize" and "meet yourself where you're at." We as humans try to talk ourselves out of emotions so badly because we'd prefer not to feel them, but as a therapist, my goal is to get you comfortable to sit in the discomfort. You'd be surprised at how capable you are. From there, goals are met.

Our first session

I understand many have never done therapy before. I am always comfortable allowing YOU to take the lead, but understand some may feel vulnerable and unable. Not to worry, I pride myself on helping you feel the most comfortable as we get you started on YOUR new journey of therapy. I love first sessions and meeting my new clients.
