Hi there, I'm Jocelyn!

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist supporting individuals who took on adult responsibilities at a young age. Together, we’ll explore the impact of family trauma, cultural expectations, mental health stigma, and the experiences of growing up in immigrant families while working toward healing and breaking generational cycles.

My focus

The individuals I support often navigate anxious thoughts, conflicting emotions, and difficulty expressing their needs without fear of disappointing others. Together, we work toward rebuilding self-esteem, strengthening self-trust, and reconnecting with the inner voice that may have been silenced by past experiences.

My approach

I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to explore the challenges that bring you to therapy.

Together, we’ll approach your experiences with curiosity, asking “What happened to me?” rather than “What’s wrong with me?” As we explore your story, we’ll work toward self-understanding, healing, and creating a life aligned with your values.

My journey to mental healthcare

Growing up in an immigrant household, I was often taught that mental health was secondary to survival. Pursuing higher education challenged that belief and showed me the importance of emotional well-being. Since then, I have been committed to reducing stigma, increasing awareness, and helping others access meaningful mental health support.
