I consider psychotherapy a good, but not a necessary, tool to address and explore life issues. I approach therapy as a friend and as another human being in the struggle and joy that is called life.

I primarily work with life issues throughout the spectrum of age and life.

My approach

My approach to therapy is instinctive, conversational, and relational. I believe my duty as a therapist is first, to listen, to try to understand, to empathize, and relate to the issues of another human being, and then to respond, and assist the other person in finding solutions to life's challenges and grow.

My communication style

My work with clients is that of a friend, who is there to listen, to respond, and assist the client to grow as a person.

My journey to mental healthcare

I came to therapy as a client, desperate about my shame about being gay. I have spent several fruitful years in therapy addressing my sexual orientation and other life issues. The communion between myself and the other person in the therapeutic process is one of the most essential elements enriching my life.

My goals for you

The goals are primarily set by the client. I will gladly offer ideas, but ultimately, the therapeutic process will proceed along the goals that the client has chosen.

Our first session

I will explore any and all questions that the client has about the process and about myself, and I will then explore the questions, issues, and needs that the client has brought to the therapeutic process.
